Editing articles and collections

Both the Articles Element and the Collection Element features allows you to create repetitive based content, such as blog posts, product collections, news feeds, galleries and much more.

Articles creates a template, which allows your content manager to add new posts on their own. Every new post created will follow the same design format as the other posts automatically, ensuring that the integrity of your design will remain as it was originally created without any additional work, or concerns that the design will change.

Editing Articles

Click on the Articles area to open the Articles Properties panel. From here click on the 'Manage' or '+ Add New Article' buttons to add, delete, or change the order of your articles.

When you 'Add A New Article' it will automatically go to the top of the list of articles and appear first. You can however adjust the order by grabbing the '+' symbol and manually dragging it up or down in the table of articles. But if you wish to delete an article, simply click on the appropriate bin opposite the article you want to delete.

Text can changed or added to any of the text boxes and will remain in the text style set up by your designer originally, unless amended by you, using any of the tools shown here by the arrows.

Please note. While text content changed in a particular article will apply to that article only, any changes to the design style will apply to all articles. To find out more about editing text, go to Edit Text and Links With The Text Editor.

Images can by added or changed by either double-clicking on the image area or on the 'Change' button.

To find out more about the other functions of the 'Properties - Image' panel, go to 'Editing and Changing Images'.

Editing Collections

Using the same tools and controls as the Articles Element, the Collection Element features allows you to create repetitive based content, product collections, galleries and much more.

And like the Articles element, Collections creates a template, allowing your content manager to add new images and text. Every new post created will follow the same design format as the other posts automatically, ensuring that the integrity of your design will remain as it was originally created without any additional work (see above for more details).
